Update: I may be a fail cosplayer, but I'm a semi-prudent fail cosplayer. All I need to do is make the new collar, remove the old messed-up collar and add the ribbons and bow. And ignore my mom's "you need to lose weight" thing she's on about again. Anyone else going to Animethon, how are yours coming along?

Storms, ick. We've been getting way too many. I'm beginning to hate them.

First of all, I would like to post a public notice that I have the right to say whatever the heck (rubbing it in) I want to. The expletives I wish to use are in my vocabulary for personal reasons, completely unrelated to the fact that none of them are dirty. The expletives I wish not to use are removed from my vocabulary not because I am "childish" or fear being "bad", but simply because it's not in my character to use them. Of course, this will be forgotten by tomorrow, but I had to say it.

Today was fun; however, it appears that my glamourbombing skills are rather lacking, or at least that I have a long way to go in the not-being-seen department. Also, I had no idea that cats ate flowers.

How many meetings in a row is it that I have no idea where we're meeting and I'm afraid to ask? e-e; And how many chats have I missed ever since I did that one stupid thing and people stopped inviting me? Again, afraid to ask about it. I really need to get over this phobia. Even Kokoro is implementing a system where you ask everybody who's on if they want to chat before you make the room. There's no WAY that I can do that! X_x;;; I can't even outright ask for 1-on-1s, which makes it hard when you're talking to the one person to whom chat quoting and character insertions get no response whatsoever...

Canada Day is pretty fun so far, even though it's just me and my family. Went down to Wascana Park to see everything that was going on and sob I left my purse in the car whyyyy I wanted mini-donuts. :((( However, I found another way to get dessert, for now I am the proud owner of...

A SNOW CONE MAKER

Even though my parents said it was a dumb idea. o/;; I like it and I will use it often. The store ran out of the cute little pink one, but I got another one and it works fine. It doesn't take much ice, actually o.o; Also got some nice syrup, the kind they put in Italian soda, instead of the kind that you can buy with the maker. Natural is healthy. Of course, though my vanilla snow cones taste great, it's hard to tell which part is covered when the syrup is clear. Knew I should have gotten strawberry.

Also, thisisarisa really needs to stop randomly disappearing after saying one or two things in AIM. Then maybe I would not think "PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR CHAT *A*" and then have awkward silence when she doesn't show up and it's just me and one other person. u-ub Speaking of which, apparently my old AIM works again? \(O_o)/

And it's finally my day off but I can't go anywhere because I have no change. Why did I forget to get a bus pass this month. *headwall* I can finally go to anime club, though, but I don't know if it's cancelled or if we get our clubroom back or what. Someone enlighten me. D: Either way, I need to celebrate my not being stuck answering phones at night.

Speaking of work, it's beginning to frustrate me how people take every excuse they can not to check what size they are. Apparently, they somehow think that waiting for three different sizes of everything, going through the trouble of trying them all on, taking them back and answering the returns questions for each one is more convenient than just getting the one they want.
( Their excuses are pretty dumb, too. )

orz. Sorry for skipping out on anime club this past week. Work this week and next has been all week long. Either way, I'm off at 5 tomorrow. :D; SOMEONE LET ME HITCHHIKE TO MOSAIC WITH THEM. OR SOMETHING. I'M BORED.

In other news, I got Safeway cookies again. ♥♥♥ Hoooooooooow long has it been since I had those. ;A; so good.

Pretty much my entire flist was AT, with like... one exception. So far, anyway. I dunno about this, but I do like the colour.

It's bad enough that my icons fail so badly, but after you've churned out a batch of them, you do not want to look and find out that somehow, they've grown six times their size. *facepalm* How does that even happen? I want to hurt something.

Party was kinda fun. I now know what not to do with alcohol. I also ended up deciding halfway through that I didn't want to get rid of my "innocent" image after all, although I'm not sure how I got it in the first place. It'd feel weird to be like everyone else.

Also discovered that cloudxsora and thisisarisa are apparently fans of each other. Is the icon community really that small or is it just because you both fixate on Ikuto?

And it's raining, so I need to do my shopping on Sunday. I keep forgetting to just buy a new umbrella after my old one broke.

So I'm eating my breakfast and there's this robin outside my window trying to eat berries. There are perfectly good berries above him on the branch, but he decides he wants to go for the ones below him. So the robin bends over to get them, the branch dips so he can't reach, robin stands up, branch goes back to normal, and this repeats over and over.

I'm sitting there, amused, and I say to my mom "I wonder what's with this robin." She goes "Well, those are fermented berries." So the robin is drunk. That explains everything.

I must be really bored if I'm posting about drunken wildlife.

SO, YESTERDAY. I'm minding my own business and my mom asks if I'm going to anime club. I answer and she stares at me for a minute.

Me: What?
Mom: Now, don't take this as an insult, no offense, I'm just asking...
Me: ...what? \(O_o)/
Mom: Have you gained weight?

...what.

Apparently, my shirt shrunk in the wash? I even had to go to the scale and check and say that no, I have not gained any weight in the past three months. Honestly. =_=;;;

Premise 2: Nobody is answering their phone.
Premise 3: I have been here since the usual time, alone.
Premise 4: All evidence on my flist suggests that people should be in the clubroom right now. This is not the case.

So I finally got TWEWY after hearing my flist talk about it nonstop. So far, it's amazing. I'm not far yet, so no spoilers, people. I also got a new begonia! It was the last one with yellow flowers. They had like a million pink, two orange, one white and one yellow. Ha.

It seems like thisisarisa (who, apparently, renamed again) made a bet where we can't use emoticons for a week? I'm in. I'll lose fifteen minutes later, but I'm in.

It's so nice out~ ♥ Way better than the weather we were getting before. Of course, now that I say that, we'll probably get-- well, I don't want to say it. I'm way superstitious about weather, probably because it changes so often here.

Kyla, did you finish Fate/stay night? My ex-boyfriend wants to see it. :O

Anime club tonight was amazing. ♥ Someone had moved all the tables and chairs and put couches in the middle of the clubroom. They also put a mini-fridge in there. We should have a mini-fridge all the time.

We watched Fate/stay night and got to the middle of the second volume. It was amazing how everyone seemed to like it. dr_cockyman has now borrowed the whole series from me. o/ Speaking of which, now it'll be two more weeks before I get Angelic Layer back. orz Not like I watched it on a regular basis, but my shelf feels empty without it. It takes up so much space.

Now I have to find something else to do with my life for two weeks. Anyone want a very bored Jisu stalking them?

What could go wrong when playing this ridiculously simple yet addictive game? Well, the minigames are addictive (I need those last few plushies!), and trial mode is fine, but story mode? It's a pain. Why, you ask? Because you have to play through all the filler!
